National Gout Awareness Day is held every year on May 22. During this day, the Gout Education Society amplifies its efforts to raise public awareness of gout – an extremely painful form of inflammatory arthritis, which affects more than 8.3 million Americans today.
Whether you’re a gout sufferer, a medical professional, or simply someone whose life has been affected by gout, we encourage you to join us in helping to raise awareness on May 22 by taking a few minutes to focus on gout and sharing our education and resources through your own networks and social media pages.
