Gout Awareness Day

Started in 2006, Gout Awareness Day is held every year on May 22. During this day, the Gout Education Society amplifies its efforts to raise public awareness of gout – an extremely painful form of inflammatory arthritis, which affects more than 12.2 million Americans today.

Whether you’re a gout sufferer, a medical professional, or simply someone whose life has been affected by gout, we encourage you to join us in helping to raise awareness on May 22 by taking a few minutes to focus on gout and sharing our education and resources through your own networks and social media pages.

For additional information, contact info@gouteducation.org.
